
Former UCLA and Cal receiver J.Michael Sturdivant has committed to transfer to Florida, according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
Sturdivant, a 6-foot-4, 185-pound redshirt junior, will have one season of collegiate eligibility with the Gators.
Sturdivant is the No. 26-ranked transfer receiver in the 2025 class, according to On3’s Industry Rankings, and brings a level of needed experience to a reshuffled receiver room for rising-sophomore QB DJ Lagway.
TAMPA ― Florida football added its second transfer for the 2025 class, landing the commitment of UCLA wide receiver J. Michael Sturdivant, according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
At 6-foot-3 and 205 pounds, Sturdivant will give Florida Gatorsfootball freshman quarterback DJ Lagway a bigger target to throw to next season. Sturdivant, from Highland Village, Texas, finished with 22 catches for 315 yards and two TDs last season.
