La Rochelle back-row Grégory Alldritt brings an impressive history to the SNCF Athletes Programme. He’ll lend his experience and support to our champions as they train for the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024, and he’ll join SNCF Group employees for in-house events.

And there’s more. In addition to his role as patron of the SNCF Athletes, Grégory will join them in promoting the Group’s purpose—working towards a dynamic, caring, sustainable society—in the business world, with sporting federations and in schools and universities.

Grégory is a respected, highly esteemed player with a worldwide reputation,”. “He’s the ideal ambassador for SNCF and our athletes. On the pitch, he shows commitment, determination and team spirit, and he personifies strength, resilience and excellence—qualities that resonate with SNCF’s values. Their victories make all of us proud, and I wish them every success at Paris 2024.”

“I’m delighted and honoured to serve as patron to SNCF’s athletes,” says Grégory. “I want to contribute what I can and support these champions, who are training to fuel our dreams!”

Supporting athletes for over 40 years

Founded in 1982, the SNCF Athletes Programme now counts nearly 30 members. Open to competitors who practice an Olympic discipline and qualify as elite athletes with the French Ministry for Sport, the programme helps participants balance their dedication to sport with the world of work. At SNCF, they have jobs that let them train and compete, all while learning a profession and laying the groundwork for life after their athletic careers.

Today, 4 of our athletes have already qualified for the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024: pole vaulter Thibaut Collet, judoka Sarah-Léonie Cysique, para athletic runner Trésor Makunda, and boxer Davina Michel.
